The stage is set for startups to secure up to €1M in funding, as well as battle on the day for a €10,000 best pitch award in front of a panel of industry experts.

Dag Ainsoo is an entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as General Partner at Startup Wise Guys and as a Management Board Member at the Estonian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association. Previously, he co-founded SmartAD, which was acquired by Modern Times Group AB. Additionally, he is an active angel investor and has been a CFO for multiple startup companies. Renat Lokomet is a seasoned investor with over 20 years of experience in fintech, crypto, AI, and venture capital. As a Venture Partner at Raw Ventures, he invests in disruptive technology companies, supporting them in business strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Renat is also a Council Member at Indexo and Summus Capital, a co-founder of the Latvian Startup Association, and has led a major Baltic financial group. He believes that, for a startup to succeed, it needs a clear vision, a solid product and team, and a good market fit.

Roderick Chia is a serial entrepreneur and inventor who co-created the patented RIDN technology. He is the founder of rodVENTURE, an entity involving innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and investment, and has previously held leadership positions at numerous organizations such as IDM Venture Capital (as a Managing Director) and Infocomm Asia Holdings as a CTO. What is MediaTech?

We welcome all startups that operate within the media markets. This includes production, distribution of various content types, marketing, visual advertising, media communications, social media, streaming, podcasting, TV, cinema, and music. Your startup can leverage new technologies such as AI, VR/AR, Metaverses, and Web 3.0, as well as traditional modes.

Should I apply if my startup is at an early stage?

If you believe that your startup or pilot media project has the potential to evolve into a valuable product with further investment – this opportunity is for you! By applying to the Global MediaTech Pitch Day by Raw Ventures, you can explore initial funding possibilities for your project.

Should I apply if I already have a mature product?

If you have been developing a commercial product for some time and require substantial funding to scale it up, pitching your project may provide you with the opportunity to secure up to €1,000,000 in financing.

Unfortunately I can't attend Pitch Day in person, but I still want to pitch my idea — what should I do?

We will consider your application even if you are unable to attend the event in person, so make sure you still submit it.
